I do not belong to the Lake Point Church Family, so when asked to play with the ministry soccer team I was skeptical. But I was surprised how great the ministry activities are. There is a prayer before each game, and the players are expected to play fairly. It has been a wonderful experience. more

This is a great church to attend. Everyone you meet there are very friendly and willing to help you out in any way possible. The childcare is awesome. Everyone makes you feel really welcomed... \r I will definitely recommend them to everyone... \r They have alot of classes for everyone to attend... They have adult Bible classes, Mens Bible Classes, Womens Bible Classes and etc...\r It was a bible class at this church that helped my family and I out. They were able to provide us at holidays and with items for our children (gifts) during christmas time. They helped us out with our little baby with clothes, furniture, and everything he need. This church is awesome and so are the people. The person that told me about this church "I thank you again" more

  • On June 17, 1979, twenty people gathered in what had been an abandoned bait shop on the shores of Lake Ray Hubbard. They had a vision to worship God and to share His great news with the surrounding community through authentic worship, teaching and committed relationships. The church has steadily grown and thrived because people continue to be transformed by God's love, and have found in Lake Pointe a church home where they can feel the joy of serving and being challenged in their faith.

    The church occupied its first permanent building in October of 1980 in Rowlett, Texas. To accommodate rapid growth the church has held as many as five separate services on weekends and has utilized offsite buildings and temporary annexes. In 1996 the church relocated to Rockwall, Texas, after purchasing a 5,000 seat auditorium and 36 acre site from Church on the Rock.. Lake Pointe offers ministries for every member of your family. Preschoolers,children and students all meet in state-of-the-art facilities for Bible study,worship and exciting activities and events.

    Programming is also available for adults,married or single,men and women,and for every stage of life. Browse through the list of ministries to find one that meets your needs.
