I've worked with a number of different roofing companies over the years to have a roof installed on homes. LO is by far the best that I've dealt with. They inspected the job, explained the process and gave a definite quote. The job began and was completed on time. The crew and all personnel were professional. Last week we had our roof replaced by Lake Orion roofing. We would highly recommend LO roofing. They were & are professional from start to finish. After having 3 other companies come out for estimates, none of which even got on our roof, we decided to contact LO roofing from a referral made to us from my husbands boss. Our project was completed in 2 days and the staff was in contact with us during & after. Thank you to Tracy, Mark, Dale, Matt & staff for a truly pleasant experience. Worst consumer experience ever! Lake Orion Roofing would not respond to our calls or correct damage they caused. They were professional up until the contract was signed. It was all downhill from there. Good luck.\r more

I called many roofing contractors and received their 'estimates' which were nothing short of scary. I then called Lake Orion Roofing from a neighbor referral. Their attention to detail was simply amazing compared to the other estimates I received. They setup an appt to come out, inspected my attic for ventilation issues, which NONE of the others did, found ""many items"" the other contractors would have never found nor would have corrected & explained how ventilation worked in laymans terms. \r They were more tuned into 'solving my problem' than stopping by to 'sell a roof' like the others. Their attention to detail was impeccable. They found many problems on the roof which the others never brought up. \r Setup a second appt to meet with both of us to review the estimate, which literally blew me away. The most professional estimate I've ever received with any contractor, ever. Their attention to detail alone was the magic bullet to the other contractors who gave 'bids' - not explanations or any solutions to our problems. All explained in a very simple format which we understood from A to Z. \r I would HIGHLY recommend Lake Orion Roofing to anyone out there shopping out their roof to be completed by this company without hesitation. \r They were very competitive in price and their specifications far surpassed my expectations. \r I honestly don't understand these other ""reviews"" as they must have been expecting some type of rose garden or 'best price wins' mentality when it comes to hiring contractors. I've learned more about a roof system than all the other contractors combined in a one hour presentation which iced the cake to hire them immediately without a second thought. \r Do NOT give in to the ""low price contractor"" which many people I know have, and got burnt, bad - hire Lake Orion Roofing and your worries are over! more

Hiring Lake Orion Roofing to do a simple tear-off and reshingle turned my life into a nightmare for which there is NO legal recourse. I am losing my home. It could happen to YOU, too.\r \r LOR talks convincing sales and workmanship guarantees but DOES NOT provide what they promise.. a trained crew , good work OR customer satisfaction. \r \r LOR sub-contracted my job to an unknown home improvement outfit from Stover Mi who had NOT received the training LOR said ALL their workers have. They did NOT know how to install shingles or even follow Oakland County Building CODE.. \r \r Bottom line.. LOR ignored my complaints, jerked me around for 2 years and then walked.. and it's ALL LEGAL .... they got off SCOT FREE!! \r \r LOR left me with a roof that leaked so badly it resulted in mold growth.. I've lost my home and possessions.\r \r Orion Township won't respond to me - could it be because LOR reroofed the Orion Senior Citizens Center?\r \r BE SURE TO HAVE YOUR ATTORNEY REVIEW ALL LOR CONTRACTS. . VERY CAREFULLY.. THE CONTRACT LEAVES THE CONSUMER AT THE TOTAL MERCY OF LAKE ORION ROOFING. more
