I have been going to the Nature Center my entire life. They recently remodeled and it is wonderful. They have fish and snakes indoors, and outside they have more animals. Children can be very hands on here. The Nature Center teaches children the importance of caring for animals. Makes a great afternoon trip for the family. more

Excellent place for the family 8/19/2005

Lake Erie Nature & Science Center have so many programs for the family. The topics change month to month. They can include seasonal constellations, current events, live music, and surprises. They also have Twinkle-Tots program geared for small ones. They have kid-friendly 10-15 minutes program just for the toddlers. They practice not being afraid of the dark, lasers dance, and constellation, have fun and enjoy the surprises. Every week is something different for all ages. more

Great fun anytime 8/18/2005

What a great resource for kids and adults alike. The center has a great planetarium and an interesting array of live animals and animal exhibits all the time and offers great programs throughout the year. These include an outstanding preschool-and-up program called “Nature Nuts.” Our 3-year-old had a fabulous time. Great for a visit or for taking an interesting and fun course. more
