Griffith Library - Small but nice 4/16/2006

The Griffith Library is kind of small but it's very nice. I usually go to the Central Library and it's huge but not very cozy. The selection at the Griffith Branch isn't nearly as large as the Central Library but you can get almost anything transferred there if you need it. The only thing that you can't request is videos / dvds. You can go on line and look up books and put them on hold and you can pick them up at the Griffith Branch (even if they are originally located somewhere else!). I give the Griffith Library 4 stars. more

Lake County Public Library - Awesome 4/9/2006

We just love the Lake County Public Library. We are big fans of those TV Shows on DVD but they are so expensive! The library rents them out for FREE!!! Just don't be late in returning them (big fines!). We were able to rent out all of the seasons of the Sopranos! The only things the library needs to do is to check the discs once in awhile to make sure they are still working properly. The books on tape are also excellent at Lake County Public Library...tons to choose from. My wife loves the quilt book section of the library...they've got lots of titles...sure beats having to buy them! Lake County Public Library gets 5 stars! more
