Violate Your Rights 5/8/2012

I was disturbed to learn that this office refuses to enter a plea of guilty on your behalf, instead stated that if you request to speak to counsil you automatically recieve a not guilty plea. This wastes taxpayers time and money . If a person wants to plea guilty there attorney should never tell them they do not have tha choice. When I confonted the Public Defenders office about this huge civil violtion they threatened me with more charges if I fired them.\r \r What a scam to get money fro the taxpayers this office is. I wll be filing a formal complaint and firing this public defender, as he clearly has only his wallet as his chief intrest. more

Public defenders are a BIG JOKE!!! 9/28/2009

I totally agree with the other review!!! If you don't have MONEY then you may as well hang it up!!! The Public Defenders DO NOT DEFEND ANYONE!!! Matter of fact I wouldn't be surprised if they work with the prosecution to put you away!!! They care NOTHING about TRUTH or JUSTICE!!! JUSTICE is supposed to SPEAK THE TRUTH but NOT IN OUR COUNTRY!! FREEDOM WHAT A JOKE! If your RICH you can do anything and get away with it and if your not no one cares what happens to you!!! Anyone can lie and accuse you and send you to prison and laugh at you while they do it and NO ONE CARES!! But I can't wait until all the GREEDY SELFISH LIERS MEET THEIR MAKER and have to explain WHY!!!! Cons: everything more

one of the worst offices in lake county, second to the state attorney and thrid to the sherriffs office 8/10/2008

slow service, not enough help to go around, does NOT defend the innocent or take the time or effort to find the truth. DO NOT care about clients, will send you to prison without blinking and eye on of the WORST GOVERMENT OFFICES IN LAKE COUNTY second to the STATE ATTORNEY and THIRD to the SHERRIFFS OFFICE Pros: doesn't cost a fortune Cons: don't help more
