LOVE these guys! They do fabulous work, i've used them for years. Its great to be able to support a local business that is family run and privately owned. Being a local business owner myself, I applaud entrepreneurship, especially when the results are as exceptional as LTS. Look, the bottom line is that if you have trees in your yard you need to get them trimmed at some point. Its inevitable. And since its a job that only needs to be done once in a blue moon you may as well get it done properly. These guys are the best. Period. End of story. They are so precise and rigorous. They have perfected the art of tree trimming. more

I am not usually one to write reviews but my experience with Laguna Tree Service was unusually exceptional. Thus, I feel the need to share about their services and my experience with them. My home sits on a large property filled with trees ALL of which needed trimming - desperately. My property was beginning to look like a forest. I knew I wanted to hire someone who would treat the job with tenderness and love - I did not want someone coming in and chopping away at the trees that took years to grow so beautifully. Laguna Tree Service was unlike any of the other businesses I had called - they promised to care for each and every tree. And they actually did. They paid close attention to detail, were very attentive to my instructions and what I wanted, were clean, always on time and extremely respectful. The owner works together with his son who I presume is to one day take over - they were both charming and professional. Wonderful family business that I was happy to support and encourage others to do the same. more

My neighbor was having his trees trimmed today, so I went over and asked for an estimate to trim one tree on my property. What a mistake! The ""gentleman"" treated me in the most rude and unprofessional manner, I was embarrassed for him. A few years ago I used another service and was charged $660 for THREE trees, and his quote was $$1,285 for ONE tree! When I tried to ask a question, he basically told me to ""stop talking"" so he could talk, and let me know that he was ""doing me a favor"" by spending his precious time giving me a free estimate. in the future, I won't be asking for anything else from this company, you can be assured of that. He seemed to think that ""tree specialist"" means ""plastic surgeon"", judging by his prices and demeanor. No, I take that back, plastic surgeons are nicer and less expensive. This man needs to be reminded that Laguna Tree Service is not the only game in town, and someone needs to train their employees on the art of customer service. more

I had an emergency with a very large ficus tree on my property-An enormous branch that had split was hanging from a lower branch that was giving out from the weight, right above my kitchen & a good part of my living room. My next door neighbor shouted out ' Call Laguna Tree Service' from across the fence & I quickly looked them up & called. Within less than an hour, their crew was there & 2 men were literally swinging from up in the tree with all of these ropes, doing their magic I guess. \r I didnt notice until the next day, that my yard was cleaner than I had ever seen it also. \r They saved the day-and cleaned up shop to say the least! \r Since then, I have hired them to manage all of my trees. \r Not only do my trees look healthier and better than ever, I no longer have to worry about another emergency, since they prune them a certain way to prevent that from happening. Pros: Fast, Professional,Detailled, & dependable to say the least. more

Ive used Laguna Tree Service for the past 17 years, and have developed a positive, long term relationship with the owner. Its a family operation, ran by a father & his 2 sons, they are Laguna Beach Residents. They are consistent in their work, detailed, and exceptionally skilled in prunning/lacing trees. Not to mentioned that they are licensed & insured--which gives a homeowner piece of mind. \r They always leave my yard cleaner then it was before, and Ive noticed that even their crew of workers never changes. One trimmer has been with them for 17 years that I know about.... \r I've had several gardeners, actually come to my door and tell me that they would like to trim my trees for a low price. One man even brought his daughter to translate for him!\r A woman down the street recently had her gardener do her trees & everytime I drive past her house, I get reminded of how I will never use anyone else. \r My trees are healthy, beautiful, and I have refered them out to so many friends that love their work too, so just thought I would put that out there..... more

I am a real estate agent in Orange County and called the company to assist a buying client in removing trees from a home in escrow. The company sent out a rep and the rep was on time and pleasant during the time he was at the home to prepair a bid. I was told the bid would be sent by fax to me soon after. The bid was never recieved. Several calls were made to the company along with to Scott (the rep or possible owner) - messages were left and no return calls were made. I finally got a hold of him a week later and he told me that he ""sent the the bid week before and didn't know what the problem was"". I asked him to re-send the bid because it was never received and I gave 2 fax numbers just incase one would not work. I waited another day and again, I never received the bid by fax. I called the next morning to inquire about the bid and was told by Scott that he ""didn't send it and didn't want to f**k with it anymore"" - then he disconnected our call.\r I was never at any time rude to this individual or a representative of this company. As a real estate agent, I come in contact with MANY people that ask me for referrals of business professionals. I WILL NEVER REFER THIS COMPANY AGAIN. They were completely unprofessional, very rude and didn't provide the service they were contacted to provide. more

I used Laguna Tree Service for some major tree work, not only were they professional, they were quick and left my property cleaner than it had been in years!
