Good experience. 12/15/2010

This was my second positive experience with Laguna Tire and Wheel. This time, I brought my son's car in with a failing brake master cylinder, and I barely coasted to a stop in the parking lot. They could have replaced the whole thing; it's a 20 year old car, and, with my auto repair ignorance and too-trusting personality, I'm easy to deceive. However, they called me and said that it wasn't necessary to replace the part because just the lid was loose. They charged me only for bleeding the air out of the lines and refilling the brake fluid...a $126 job that could have easily been a $350 or more replacement. Thanks guys. I'll be back. more

Dont be fooled by the nice "old" man they got at the door! 10/4/2009

I live in Seattle and came down to visit a dear friend when my car broke down a few months back. I took the car to Lagune tire and wheel and after 4 visits and 1000 dollars I ended up flying back home and I am still trying to sell the damaged car which is stuck in front of my friends house. Do not be fooled by the nice gray haired old man they have working as the cashier. He brings you in with his devious smile and then the owner plays the "bait and switch" and comes out and tells you EVERYTHING is wrong with your car. Youll know who Im talking about cause he is a mix between a pit bull and Tony Soprano. It is so sad what the economy has forced some business's to do and all cause my car was overheating just a "little." Cons: The economy had made them desperate! more

do NOT go to this business if you are a woman! they are not ethical, nor are they moral, in my humble opinion They try to intimidate you into reasons why they overcharge. I had my jetta serviced here THREE separate times for my check engine light. I was charged over $300 the first time, $400 the second time (a week later), and $500 the third time. They kept telling me that I needed a new coolant sensor, then it was one thing after another. After bringing my car in and spending over a thousand dollars, my check engine light was STILL on! The owner is a big loud man who loses his temper easily and rasied his voice at me several times. I couldn't understand how I spent so much money and brought my car in 3 times and they still couldn't fix it! I wanted a discount or at least a refund and he yelled at me and insisted it was not their fault, insinuating that I had done something wrong. Well I know that it wasn't my fault! I finally brought my car to the VW dealership and t more

This is the Place!!!! 12/21/2008

This place is a refreshing breath of fresh air when needing mechanical work done. They are honest, very reasonable, fast service, and they get the job done right! Andrew, the owner with his moral of integrity of doing business will have you coming back for all of your tire and mechanical needs. When Henry greets you at the shop you will feel confident that you will be taken care of and with all of the knowledgeable mechanics there, I was very impressed with the time they took to explain everything clearly. This place is how other garages should do business, because this place is like that small town garage that knows you by name when you walk in. Tell them that Tina sent you and you will make Laguna Tire and Wheel the only place you trust for you vehicle?? I did. more
