I would never have stopped in this hole-in-the-wall gem if not for some remarkable online reviews. Lagoon as completely lived up to its remarkable reputation.\r

Just a couple of blocks from the state capitol building, Lagoon isn't much to look at from the outside, but don't judge this restaurant by its storefront. Inside is a comfortable oasis from the hectic pacing of University Avenue. The staff have always been very friendly, even when taking telephone carry-out orders. And the food! The Hot-and-Spicy Chicken is fantastic. (It's not so hot as to burn your mouth, just full of bold flavors.) The egg rolls are crispy and wonderful and come with a delicious dipping fish sauce. All of this comes at very reasonable pricing with most dishes under $10.\r
