Lago

I'd never been here before, but my friend wanted to go so of course I invited myself. The atmosphere was very inviting and the staff was excellent. The food was the real star, though. We were in a party of 6 that had the good fortune of going to Lago restaurant in Tremont last night. My friend picked the restaurant and as none of us had eaten here before, it was a new experience and we weren't disappointed. It has charming ambience with a beautiful huge Italian mural painted on a wall. Our food was wonderful and our waiter was very attentive. We all ordered different entrees and every one of us raved about our dinner. I had chicken stuffed with spinach and cheese and it was delicious. What I loved about the restaurant was you were able to re-arrange your side dishes if desired. My entree was supposed to come with asparagus but I switched that out for green beans. My husband only wanted trout with fingerling potatoes and nothing else and his meal was exactly that. We all had dessert too and that was also delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
