I purchased a car from the Lafontaine Clearance Center on M59 in Howell Mi. on 10/31/2014\r
My sales person was very nice. However the sale was very easy for him as I was prepared to a car that week. I only needed to made a decision on which car I was going to purchase. They made me great deal on my trade in. I even made the point to mention I was not going to the dealership where I purchased my previous autos, because their customer was poor and I was looking for dealership that was customer oriented, and of course I was assured they had the best customer service anywhere. That is where it all stopped, they got the deal.\r
There were a few minor repairs that I brought to there attention. My sales person responded with the answer of ""oh no problem, let me check on that and I will call you back"".\r
I just wanted a date to get my car serviced. I never got a call back regarding my concerns, I did however get calls when he needed information to complete the sale that he forgot he needed. I took the opportunity to ask him about my repair issues the 3 times in 3 weeks he called. So here's where I stand 3 weeks into my purchase, my repair issues are still getting the ""I'll find out and call you back."" answer and the paper work took so long to get completed correctly to pay off my trade in the payment went over 30 days and reported on my credit report, and last but not least, I had personalized plate to transfer over, but some how my mentioning that to them 3 times and the sales person putting the trade in plate on my new car, they still managed to charge me for and ordered a new plate. So I have been driving on an incorrect plate. When the sales person called to let me know my new plate was in, I told him again about my personalized plate, and of course that was met with the same answer ""I'll check on it and call you back"" but surprise 2 days later still no call... So I went to the dealership to pick up the plate at 10:30 in the morning because they open at 9:00 am, butmy sales person was out getting breakfast! Another nice man offered to find it for me, while he was looking for it yet another sales person ask ""How I was doing""\r
I replied with I'm not happy with alot of things with my purchase. He just looked at me and said nothing... (way to jump in and be a team player) to collectively take care of a customer. Then the sale person brought my plate and offered to put it on my car, I was so upset I just took the plate and left. I gave my sales person an hour to call as it was clear I was unhappy, but surprise no call came. I decided at that point to contact the sale manager to express my concerns about service and to get my repair set up. I did get his voice mail but here's a shock, 8 hours later when they closed no call. For a company who prides on customer service sure dropped the ball. If it happened to me I'm sure it happened to others.\r
Please don't let it be you.\r
