Great memories at this old haunt. Old black man singing blues on the piano, famous place, dimly lit. I stop there everyi time I'm in NOLA.

VIOLENT MANAGER!!! 8/25/2009

I'm sorry, I have to step in. All night long the manager was screaming at his staff. Later tat night he beat up a teenager for drawing on the sidewalk with chalk. He must be on drugs or something because he acts like a kid. more

Dark and cozy 4/28/2006

Located on the edge of the french quarter, this ancient building is possibly the most authentic bar in the area. Lit only by small candles on each table, featuring a tiny bar area and a piano in the back - this can be a lively place on a packed night or a romantic place on one of the lazier days in New Orleans. more
