Interesting experience 1/18/2006

If I remember correctly, in the theater that I was in there were four columns of seats on one side and then a tight little walkway, with two columns on the right side. The screen was not as big as I’m used to, but it’s easy to forget that once you get into the movie. more

Good Independent Theater 1/17/2006

This Laemmle is a bit smaller than some, but they offer student discounts (a rarity these days). The theater is clean and pleasant, there are always interesting series coming their way. The parking structure across the street (this is very close to the Promenade) is a great place to park. more

Great Place to See Independent Films 8/14/2005

This is one of the spots where people would go to see documentary films before Moore made them famous. Laemmle has always had a great selection of foreign or low budget films to check out. It is something most 20 somethings do on their weekend, and if you like subtitles, come along! more

Laemmle Theatres 8/5/2005

Although these theatres look a bit dated and aren't necessarily the most luxurious they offer what the large stadium-style theatres don't..... a variety of artistic films. These aren't the blockbusters but the highly acclaimed. Because they have multiple theatres you will always find something interesting to choose from. Come early if the film is popular as this is a popular theater and sometimes sell out. more
