My son - 3 years - has attended their 2-3 class. Overall the school has what we were looking for. Lots of attention on kids, semi-structured play time, focus on socialization etc. We like the teachers a lot, though administration is not as organized as we'd like to see. PROS: Teachers, location, CONS: Unorganized, Pricey more

Excellent preschool that mixes activites, reading, play, singing 5/8/2006

Both my older daughter and younger son went to Ladera Preschool for 2 years each and I feel they were very well nurtured. The school focuses on holistic learning (lots of various activities, balanced with individual playtime, only friends togehter playing with supervised learning). The facility has a great slide on the hill and large swings. The kids were almost always in good spirits when they were picked up, even if they were dropped off a little sad or groggy. PROS: Holistic education, good teacher child ratio, nice location CONS: Could have a larger outdoor play area. more

  • More than 50 years ago, a group of neighbors gathered together in faith. They canvassed their neighborhood to determine if there was enough interest to launch a church program. Apparently there was. The first Ladera Community Church service was held on the patio of a local home on April 18th, 1954. Today their creative vision has grown into a diverse and dynamic community, a sanctuary where any person may come to worship God and expand their understanding of the Christian tradition. Ladera Community Church, our goal is to nurture the spiritual, moral, and intellectual growth of each and every person, uniting us in accepting full stewardship for our community and the world.
