Lada Salon & Spa

After a friend recommended that I try Lada I was hooked. I went there for about a year for hair, facials, waxing, ect. I really loved how my stylist did my hair and I wish I could still go there, but unfortunately she is just too rude to handle. She could find a way to say something negative about ANYTHING I said. I enjoy most people and can put up with a lot, but she has worn me down. I decided to switch to a new salon because I would get a pit in my stomach thinking about having to see my stylist. It is too bad too, because she is very talented and listened well to what I wanted. I would have switched to a new stylist at Lada, but I feared that she would be mean to anyone that I switch to. I have seen her have an attitude to other employees at the salon, and I would feel so terrible if she was mean to someone because of me. If you do decide to go to Lada I hope you get one of the respectful stylists. It is a well-run salon, and the owner Mark is a great guy and talented stylist. I wish him and the salon the best. (Basically the second she leaves, I will come back). more

I came in to this salon about a month ago to get a pedicure. There was a guy working the front desk he was very rude greeting me, didnt offer me anything to drink and just seemed like he had better things he could be doing. So right away my experience had went out the window. When the service provider came out to get me she seemed very friendly and made me feel a little more comfortable. The girl did a pretty good job and thanks to her I will be back, but judging by first impressions, your there to treat your guests not be a rude jerk at the front desk acting like you have better things to do! some people just shouldn't be in this business is all I have to say. more

I went in to this salon to get an eye brow wax and a bikini wax, and out of all the places I have been this was by far the best. The girl definitely knew what she was doing and was very professional about everything. She made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I will definitely be back again! more

I have been going to Lada Salon and Spa for the last six months where i have received wonderful cut and color from stylist Libby! She was so warm, friendly, and helpful. Love the mens blending color technique to tone down the gray. You should try it! more

this is a great hair salon and spa with a full line of aveda products. you cant go wrong. i loved the color blending technique to hide the gray which was suggested and done by stylist Libby. thanks for the great job! more

As a special treat to one of my dearest friends, we went to Lada for pedicures. It was truly a TREAT from the moment we entered. While we waited for our pedicures, the receptionist made us a cup of some delicious hot tea which was perfect on a cold, snowy day. Our pedicures were wonderful! Our feet were smooth, soft, and painted beautifully. We each had the hot stone foot massage which was simply amazing. My feet have never felt better. I would highly recommend this spa!!! The service was great!!! more

This is an amazing little gem in West Lawrence. A must for a day of relaxation or a whole new look from one of their Hair Designers. more
