My experience was with Attorney Dorollo Nixon, Jr. and he represented me after I was first denied SSDI. He is an amazing man. He was gracious, intelligent, funny, and calming. I mentioned calming because trying to navigate through the maze of all things governmental was incredibly overwhelming for me. He allowed me to be frustrated and he helped me to realize that things would eventually be okay. This entire process was long and arduous and when you're suffering with a medical condition like I am, you really don't need any extra stress. There was not a moment where I thought that he was unsure of how to proceed. He listened to my many many phone calls, and I cried in a fair amount of them. My experience with the SSA was truly awful and I was glad to see my fight taken up by someone in whom I have unshakable trust. There is an incredibly capable woman that I'd like to mention as well. I don't know her last name, but her first name is Erin. She too fielded many questions and concerns of mine and she was always knowledgeable, funny, and kind. I don't know how many people that are reading this have ever tried to navigate the ridiculous road that is the SSDI process, but it is truly intimidating and time consuming, so it's incredibly comforting to know that your case is in extremely capable hands. Needless to say, I was more than happy with my experience with Lachman & Gorton, specifically with Atty. Nixon and Erin, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I couldn't have asked for a better team. By the way...I won on the first appeal.
