I purchased a Living Social coupon for eyelash extensions and had a great experience at Damali, Th receptionist was very helpful and sweet, every time I called and my beautician Heidi was amazing. Unfortunately, I got caught in the rain right after my extensions, and some of them fell of (as you're not suppose to get them wet for the first 24 hours). I simply e-mailed them back and they saw me the same day and fixed me up free of charge. I highly recommend the salon, and Heidi for lash extensions. more

Went to Damali NYC for a bridal event and was soooooo surprised!. Who knew this gem was right here in the middle of the city!...its def a well kept secret that I want to get out there. Beautiful space, well decorated with a fun, hip ambiance - perfect for a bachelorette beauty/spa party. The owner Heidi was the best hostess...and the best makeup artist. I got so many compliments on my eyebrows and eyelashes (extensions...but who's telling :-)). Worth a visit for spa services. more

I have very dry skin and have tried almost every expensive brand of foundation but nothing worked for me. Saw these news about the advantages of airbrush so I tried Temptu but I do not like it. It left me with flaky feeling on my face even after an hour I put it on. Later on found out that Temptu use silicon based in their foundation. I then spent one weekend reading all the information about airbrush makeup on line. Dinair has the best review as they use water based makeup. Called up Dinair in CA immediatelt and they told me Dalmali nyc carries Dinair. So I went to meet Heidi the following day for the first time and she gave me a thorough demo. At first I was still skeptical about airbrush but Heidi made me feel welcome and relaxed. Then her warm smile and great customer services attitude also made me feel great. She answered all my questions patiently after she put on the makeup for me. I feel good and ventually I walked away happily with a set of Dinair airbrush makeup. Now I have been using it for 2 weeks already and I am very happy with the result. Most of all, Heidi really takes care of her customer. I still have questions and whenever I called her, she answers all my questions patiently. So I really want to give Heidi a big thank you. Heidi you're the best! I will never change to another brand again. more

the services at damali are exceptional as Heidi is hands down the best make up and lash artist in the business...not only that but the location and ambience of the salon are like no other...the staff is so personable and the beautifying experience is so enjoyable that it feels like you're in beauty heaven!!!I i want to try the organic spray tan really soon!!! more

I had my makeup done by Heidi at Damali NYC, for my best friends wedding in NYC and it was amazing. The location was perfect right in midtown Manhattan, us blocks away from the reception. The bride looked beautiful and the bridesmaids as well. Besides getting our makeup done, we were also able to get our nails done, eyelash extensions,and an organic spray tan, all in the same salon. The overall experience was perfect and simply serene. Heidi was extremely talented, and became more like a friend than a worker and made it all feel very personalized. Will definitely go back to her for my own wedding in the future! =) more

Last month I was in desperate need of a good eye brow waxing. My brows were untamed and bushy. I was terrified of having my brows waxed by someone inexperienced because I didn't want them to look feminine. A friend referred me to Damali NYC. I was very pleased with the studio,the great service and not to mention how Heidi shape my brows. They shape fit my face so that they were clean to perfection however very masculine. Beautiful, Serene space in the heart of manhattan....I had my makeup done by the owner and it was fantastic, perfect for the event i was attending. She was very personable and we connected immediately. Most of all I felt beautiful when i walked out. I will definitely be going back to experience some of their other sevices. more
