Brief Summary- Great Technician:Great Idea:Too Noisy to Really Let Go and Relax\r ------------\r LaBella Home Spa, is located in a lovely home in South Minenapolis. They have converted the homes basement into a relaxing spa enviroment. (Negative - the actual door to the spa was around the back of the home, it was snowing, and unshoveled path, made it uninviting). I really enjoyed the facial itself, however, when I made the appointment for both me and my best friend to have facials (at the same time) that's what I assumed we would be getting, but when we arrived, we found out that we would both have to wait while the other received services. The person that made our appointment should have told us that she could not accomodate both facials at the same time. My friend and I both agree that the facial itself was great, relaxing, and renewing. During both of our waiting period though we were not attended to, the furnace would kick on and make us jump, and periodically we could hear music from upstairs, which broke the relaxing enviroment that they had tried to establish in the area of the actual spa. I enjoyed getting a facial, but would have to think twice about attending LaBella again, only because it's spa is not partitioned off well enough from the rest of the home. Pros: Great Technician-Very Knowledgable. Cons: Uninviting Entrance, Couldn't Accomodate Two Facials at Once, Noisy Waiting area. more

Natascha gives the best pedicures I've ever had. My feet looked simply beautiful and felt even better. The reflexology transformed my tired aching feet into the most comfortable feet in town. I was a little wary going here the first time. It is in a home in SE Minneapolis. The home is charming and so I walked around the back to the spa entrance and was tickled because it was a great spa experience. It was quiet, relaxing, friendly and warm. The owner greeted me and offered me a glass of spring water. I got a facial and it was so relaxing I fell asleep. Also the use Dermologica. Those are the products that the Mayo recommends. Wonderful experience, so impressed. Natasha is a warm, talented person and that shines through. My facial was fabulous, very gentle and thoughtful, with lots of great massage. Pedicure was great, very hydrating and cleansing. Decor warm and fresh, and most importantly, this place is quiet, not like the big places where you're moved around like cattle. You definitely feel like #1 here, and the experience is relaxing and enjoyable. It's also nice to feel that you're in a ""home"" setting; it all contributes to the warmth. They were flexible with my schedule, fitting in my two appointments back-to-back only the day before, despite them being busy. I went to LaBella for the first time to fix a bad acrylic manicure I had gotten done somewhere else. Natascha gave me a wonderful acrylic manicure and helped me pick out a flattering nail color that I would have shyed away from typically. I plan to stick with LaBella from now on. What a great place to go for a relaxing pedicure - One on one attention and great results without the bustle of a large spa. The nail care area was comfortable (and very clean) plus the owner who did my nails was so nice. I called to say I was running late for my appointment and Natascha was able to juggle her schedule so I still got the full treatment. What other spa would do that for you? I visited LaBella for a spa pedicure, and can't say enough about the experience! Though I was a bit hesitant at first, I went based on a referral and am SO happy that I did! The environment is fabulous--very relaxing, elegant and unassuming at the same time. Natascha did a fabulous job, was very friendly, and explained what she was doing every step of the way. She is the consummate professional and puts her client at ease immediately. I literally felt the tension leave my feet and legs throughout the duration of the pedicure. This spa is one of the metro area's finest. I am a frequent spa goer and LaBella Home Spa stands out as a truly wonderful spa. I had an outstanding facials, which included without a doubt THE finest arm-rub ever, with Charlotte. Charlotte was thorough, attentive, and highly-skilled. I've also been back for a mani and pedi with Natascha Gonser, owner of LaBella, and she was excellent, leaving my hands and feet in a glorious condition. Natascha has designed and decorated the spa with true skill, and the atmosphere of this unique home spa is second to none. Very relaxing, beautifully decorated, quiet, and luxurious. The bathroom is well-equipped with a spacious shower, is plentiful with its linens, and makes available many Dermologica products, which the spa uses and sells. LaBella also is very reasonably priced. I recommend this spa without hestitation. more

I just moved into town and was so stressed with moving, new job, etc. I really needed a massage! I found LaBella on this site and decided to try it out. I'm so glad I did! I've experienced a lot of massage, and this was probably the best I've ever had. It was exactly what I needed and I felt like a new person afterwards. And it was a great value. You could pay twice as much at some high-end salon for this quality. The atmosphere is comfortable and clean. The staff is super-friendly and there was no pressure to buy anything, although they were very helpful when I asked about products. I'm really impressed by the brand of products that they carry. A friend and I went to LaBella and received the Hydrating Pedicures, and we were both so happy with our whole experience! We both enjoyed the comfortable atmosphere and the relaxing hour of massage that went along with our pedicures. We will both be coming back to LaBella in the future.
