I had to come to Labcorp instead of Quest because my insurance required this changeover. I didn't think it would be a big deal but it is. First of all, when I got there, there were two different windows (confusing) and one woman working the whole office by herself, running both windows, trying to answer the phone constantly ringing, making phone calls, and trying to answer patients questions. Obviously short staffed. But anyway, she informs the man in front of me when he said he did not have an appointment that the wait would be 1 and a half to 2 hours. This was a regular weekday, at 10am. Ridiculous. Luckily I make appointments for these types of things. She told me to just go into ""the white door"" to go do my urinalysis. There were two white doors, but ok. I figured it out and discovered there was one little bathroom, many people waiting, and a stack of fast food-like cardboard paper cups with plastic lids and a Sharpie marker. You write your own name on these thins and when you are done you just toss it on a tray with a bunch of other people's urine cups! There was no one around to observe any of this. It was disgusting and not sanitary, I wouldn't be surprised if they have mixed up urine samples before. I also saw people in each room waiting to give their blood, all of them waiting but with no one around to take their blood. I was sent back out to the waiting room for about 20 mins and then was called back for my blood. I warned the woman that it is not easy to draw blood from me. Of course she thinks she assumes she can work her magic and she failed, I was poked 3 times. I was also told to go back and ADD urine to the cup that I had put in 20 mins prior. Gross. I got out of there in a hurry.
