La Vita Bella Salon & Day Spa

I had a horrible massage and eyebrow wax experience. I prefer a nice relaxing massage not something out of a Russian torture room. (where do they find these harsh women) I was facing down and the lady applied a significant amount of pressure on my back. I am petite and this kind of surprise caught me off guard. I could not relax the rest of the time and I would never go back. A waste of time and money. If you like pain and a nasty attitude then you will like it. more

I went there today to get the Day of Beauty. I had some positives and some negatives. I started with a massage with Tania. It was amazing! I had a maternity massage at another spa last year when I was pregnant and it hurt, so I did not know how this was gonna go, but I am hooked! If you are gonna go there, ask for Tania for your massage. Next, I got my facial and it was okay. The lady who did it was cordial and nice. I have nothing bad to say or anything exceptional either. I got a mani pedi, which was outstanding! Marina did my nails and while at first, I was a bit intimidated (she did not come off friendly at first), we were having a ball by the time it was all over. She even gave me an extra treatment for my hands to help with my dry skin. She went the extra mile and made my toes and fingers look fabulous! I got my hair shampooed, cut and styled by Anna. She was very nice and inviting; however, she did not do what I wanted. She simply trimmed my hair and did nothing new to it. I was supposed to get a makeover and ended up with the same old 'do I have had for like 4 years now. She also did not style it well, I could have made it look the same at home with my hair dryer. Last, I had my make-up done wiht Robert. He came in with food that smelled delicious and seemed to rush through everything. I could have done my make-up better myself. I felt like I looked tired and worn out, as the colors he put on me did not suit me at all. I already look tired as a mom of 2 very young children...I wanted something to liven me up. While there were ups and downs, I would definitely go to them again for certain services, such as massages, mani and pedis and facials. Aside from the people who tended to me for all of my services, I found that everyone who worked there was extremely inviting and kind. I never felt so comfortable anywhere else :) more

I had an appointment for an up-do as part of a bridal party. Went in with my curly hair already nicely styled (their manicurist even commented how nice it looked and was surprised when I told her I did it myself and was about to have it put up after she finished my nails). I asked to have it half up and half down and the stylist immediately raked her fingers through my curls which totally frizzed them out (she obviously was not experienced with curls). She then began sticking a few bobby pins in it and spraying the heck out of it with hairspray and I was done in 15 minutes! I sat around another 90 minutes waiting for the rest of the girls to be finished with their up-dos. The style looked just okay but they had the audacity to try and charge me $95! How dare they! This is Norristown not Philly! Get a grip. No wonder all of their stylist carry Louis Vuitton and Gucci bags. If I mad $380 per hour I could too! I went to La Vita Bella Salon yesturday ( i surprised my cousin for her birthday) for my first spa experiance. Im so happy I picked this place. Not only was it gorgeous inside and completly calming, but the service was great! I felt so welcomed and wanted there. Tanya gave me the most amazing full body massage ( which i needed very bad considering i just had a baby) , i still feel it today.. and Galina gave me my facial . My skin is so radiant and fresh. i was recomended to la vita bella by a friend who had been going to stephanie for about a year. I was scheduled for a mani pedi and was extremely satisfied. Stephanie was professional and sweet and my nails are absolutely perfect!! I will definitely be back again. Pros: great manicurists more

I've been a customer of La Vita Bella since they opened. I have always been more than pleased with my services. I do hair and nails at LVB, and, have recently started to get massages. They do it all at LVB. They do it extremely well and are always accomodating and very cordial. When I go to La Vita Bella, I find that I relax the moment I enter the Salon, and, leave feeling beautiful and invigorated. They can't seem to do enough for you. I commend the service staff for making La Vita Bella such a wonderful place to go, and, the management for being in tune with customer needs. I tell all my friends about La Vita Bella. I had a gift certificate for a manicure and pedicure and had a horrible experience. Although I was admittedly slightly late (about 7 minutes) I was rushed through my pedicure which was completed shoddily in less than twenty minutes. The pedicurist Stephanie consistently got nail polish on my skin which she wiped off with her nails. When I stepped outside, I noticed that the polish was applied unevenly and collected by the sides of the nails near the skin. My husband was with me and encouraged me to go back inside. He said that he could do what she did to my toes! I went back in and said that I was unhappy with the pedicure and showed the receptionist where the polish had ran. They took me back to Stephanie and she quickly re-did it (emphasize QUICKLY). When I left it still really wasn't good and I had nail polish residue on my skin again. My biggest regret was that I actually tipped her after the second time....shouldn't have done that. It was a really bad experience and I've had $10 pedicures that look way better than that. Not worth it at all and would never go back. more

I went to this salon over a year ago, but am just now writing a review. When I visited I received a sloppy Manicure and Pedicure. I've tried several salons & day spas in the Blue Bell, PA area and I must say that La Vita Bella is the tops. Unlike the others, this salon always makes you feel that you and your business are appreciated. Their staff can't seem to do enough for you. Their pricing is absolutely great. But it's their services that I am really impressed with. Their massages are among the best I've ever had and I've had massages in many states and in Europe. I'd highly recommend the deep tissue. I've also tried their specialty services and have given my friends and business acquaintenances gift certificates from La Vita Bella so they, too, can feel fantastic. My daughter will be getting married in the upcoming year and we will definitely take our bridal party to La Vita Bella. Pros: service, atmosphere, staff, parking, great value more

I recently had a Day of the Beauty at La Vita Bella Salon & Day Spa. Everyone at the Salon was extremely pleasant and accomodating. Each of the service providers were obviously highly trained and each service was just super. I particularly liked the pampering. You can't beat the prices for this upscale salon and spa. I received a haircut there and was not pleased with the person that did it, she cut my hair the way she wanted and not the way I wanted. I gave them another shot with getting a manicure and pedicure. The person who did the manicure and pedicure was nice but she rushed through everything, cut my ankle and stuck me under the dryers with way to much polish on so it ran all over my toes. She could not fix the mistake due to the fact she left as soon as she put me under the dryers. No where near worth the money I paid. I would not recommend them. more

I had the standard facial and it was by far the best one I've had yet. The atmosphere was calming, the price was average, and the facialist did not try to sell products. I would recommend it to everyone. more
