La Villa Basque French Rstrnt

Just visited this restaurant a couple of days ago, always seemed to pass it on my way to meetings but always caught my attention, a few days ago decided to take 2 friends of mine, we arrived and no one was around to seat us, an older waitress finally came around, we were seated to what appeared like a funeral home, very dark and cold. We ordered the drinks, but no napkins and we waited around 10 minutes order drinks, for a place like this the drinks were to expensive, 18.00 for 3 bud lights, not even in B.H. I ordered a shrimp cocktail and to my 30 minute delight it only came with a small glass and 4 shrimps with plenty of ketchup and a yellow lemon, it took another hour to pay which I thought it very expensive, but left a tip anyway. Worse experience and very bad service, will never go there again. more

I heard about La Villa Basque through a friend and decided to take my 5 year old daughter with me. It was the best experience. The staff makes a differnece when going to a restaurant. The food was made as I ordered for my daughter and myself. I had a lot of request when ordering my food and I received it perfectly. No doubt about it I will return! The quality of service and food at La Villa Basque is excellent. I enjoyed the whole experience. To find a place like La Villa Basque is not easy to find now and these days. You do not feel rushed to order or ignored because the server is too busy. The place is so original. You need to see for yourself. Pros: plenty of parking and great service all around. more
