La Vida at Sunday 3/18/2011

La Vida is a sleek upscale venue where stars and models mingle. Yes there often is a cover, however you can always contact your promoter for free or discount if they are able to do so. This was a venue where I ran into Ja Rule at, while searching for my friends at the bar. more

Used to be fun 2/3/2011

I'm good friends with the owner of this venue so this review might be biased. This is one of those venues that has great pictures. I mean the pictures of the venue looks much better than the actual venue. I've never had a meal there but I'm guessing the food is good since the owner is a 20 yrs restaurant veteran. I was one of the promoters that launched this venue on Fridays. It was a great night, we had all kinds of celebs come out in their jeans and PJs to hang out. This was the spot I had my first conversation with Mel Gibson. Well Fridays lasted only 6 months and then it was replaced by urban promoters...yikes. Saturdays was good for a while but now its packed with randoms but still the best night to go there. Avoid Fridays at all cost. Make sure you get on a guest list on Saturdays otherwise you will have to pay $20 and wait in some long ass line. New clubs opens in Hollywood all the time. Great service 6/16/2010

I went to La Vida on a tuesday night and the restaurant wasn't very crowded. I was excited to try the mediterranean dishes but the waiter informed me that they completely changed their menu recently so I tried one of their new mexican dish Fajitas Tres Amigos Combination. It was good, well cooked and well seasoned and I had a flan for dessert which was absolutely delicious. Pros: Beautiful place, great service more

La Vida is a very cool new spot that took over an old restaurant on sunset and gower. I've been here on Friday nights and I think it's a great spot to hit before going out/if not the entire night.
