This Place it more like an Albanian eatery. The workers stand around like there bouncers in a bar. Very uncomfortable! Anyway did I forget to say the food is comparable to Kibbles and Bits! enough said! more

la Vera Cucina is the only restaurant in Rockland County that has excellent food and exceptional service. Everyone makes you feel right at home except that you don't have to do the cooking. Everyone should definately try it out. more

AMAZING 11/1/2008

This is the best ilatian food in the area. the only thing that has it beat is NYC and its hard. The Gnocci is amazing and the service is impeccable. the bar is a great time for after sinner or work drinks. i love it all :) try it once even though its in Airmont New York and you wont be upset. more

  • La Vera Cucina opened for business in January, 2007. It is conveniently located on Rt. 59 in Suffern, New York just minutes from the New York State Thruway and Northern New Jersey. The La Vera Cucina name has been serving the Suffern community for over 14 years.


    La Vera Cucina specializes in Italian cuisine with a carefully designed menu, creative dishes and enticing specials. Only the finest quality ingredients are used for all its dishes. The owners personally go to the market two times per week to pick only the freshest meats and fish. All pastas and ravioli are homemade on premises daily, and all menu items are available as take out.


    The atmosphere at La Vera Cucina is casual but up scale. The restaurant has a cocktail lounge featuring a large rectangular bar with 4 flat screen TVs and non-bar seating for your comfort. La Vera Cucina has an extensive Wine List and serves a variety of Special Drinks and Martinis. See our Wine List page for more details.
