We had a really great dinner here and will be back! The food was excellent, our server was fantastic, and the atmosphere and faux Italian coziness of the place was just what I needed after a long stressful week. We had a stracciatella with grape tomatoes to start paired with some San Giovese wine which I loved. It was dry velvety rusty and rasberry - made me very happy. For Secondi I had a gorgonzola primivera salad which consisted of sliced green apples, grapefruit and (walnuts?). My gorgeous man had some seasonal veggies with olive oil, sea salt and pepper. For our entrees I had a Penne with tomato sauce and eggplant. It was so fantastic. Hot and tangy and the pasta was perfect, there were tiny bits of eggplant here and there with such a great texture. It's so easy to overcook eggplant. This eggplant was not mushy nor too firm. The boyfriend had some gnocchi with asiago cheese = cheese potato pockets of goodness. I stole more than one taste across the table. They were pillowy and the granular cheesiness paired well with the soft texture of the gnocchi. I almost wished I ordered it but was quite happy with my penne.\r
