I have taken my two dogs there for about two years. Dr. Schreder is very respectful and knows what she is doing. They do not try to over charge you and are straight shooter. Staff is also very nice and love animals more

Our beloved cat of 12+ years was so very sick and we brought them to a high end vet yesterday who wanted to guage us for over $2000.00 in treatments and they were cold and unfeeling. \r \r When he was not better this morning we brought him to La Sierra and they were the most loving, caring people I have ever met in a veterinary office and I will recommend them to everyone I know. They were very compassionate and their prices were minimal compared to all the other vets I have called and the one I went to yesterday. They treated us like family. more

I didn't trust them either. The vets seem callous, and all about the money. They way overcharged me for a dental. more

NO NO NO.....they are in it for the MONEY. I LOST my beloved best friend while in their care. They did NOT help my girl. I spent thousands there and they snickered at me when I ran out of $$$ and said they couldn't help her because I didn't "have the money" in a SARCASTIC tone. She DIED and so did my HEART. They couldn't have cared LESS. She was only 3 years old. They have NO COMPASSION. Now I'm a vet tech student and I KNOW what a real vet hospital could have done for my girl. She TOTALLY COULD HAVE LIVED. I could just curl up and DIE when I think of how I TRUSTED THEM. And DON'T LET THEM TALK YOU INTO A DENTAL.....all they want is your MONEY. more

La Sierra not only sees the usual round of dogs and cats but also more exotic animals, such as rats and ferrets. I especially love Dr. Laura Schrader. She is a quiet, gentle spirit who has great compassion, not only for the animals in her care, but for the owners also. She especially loves rats and I have brought several of mine to her, not only for treatment but also for euthanasia when it was called for. I know some vets will put a rat down simply by injecting them in the heart, and they'll tell you they don't feel a thing. Dr. Schrader will first anesthetize them and then euthanize them, so the process really is completely painlessl. Even rats have feelings, and Dr. Schrader provides tender loving care for them and any other animal I've brought to her. more
