Really neat stuff 12/28/2005

This store has a lot of really neat one of a kind hard to find vintage clothes, purses, and jewelry. They have some nice designer stuff that is a bit more expensive- and then they also have the traditional stuff that most vintage stores have- the neat sixties and seventies pants and shirts and stuff. Over all, it is really fun to go and look and browse around and maybe even find some good bargains and things. The prices widely vary depending on how nice of an item you want to buy and whether you want designer stuff or not. more

La Rosa Vintage 8/15/2005

I was looking for a flapper costume for a Halloween party I was going to go to and I heard that this place carries vintage clothing specifically for that period of time. It's located in a unusual place located among the tatoo parlors on Haight street. Inside they have a large selection of clothing and accessories from this time period however their prices were expensive. I decided to go somewhere else. more

Top Notch Vintage 8/12/2005

La Rosa on Haight Street caters to the serious collector of vintage items. Jewelery, womens clothes, mens clothes and accessories are always in great shape. It is a bit expensive and as usual with vintage, sizing runs small. However, when you walk in, you know that you will not ever bring anything home that is seriously flawed. These folks pay attention to the merchandise and it shows. In addition to that, the staff is hands-down the best dressed in the city. Interior of store is a bit crowded - all of it is good stuff though, so you won't mind. more
