Friendly place to shop and eat! 7/2/2010

This family-owned business has a lot to offer. They have a great selection of Mexican beef cuts such as fajita meat, pork cuts and chicken. They also offer a variety of Mexican groceries that I haven't been able to find anywhere else. The staff is friendly and helpful! They also have a restaurant where we ate some delicious and affordable tacos, and if you're looking for something fancier, try the steaks or some of the dish combos. La Popular is a great place to shop and to eat! more

great hispanic grocery store 3/23/2006

if you are looking for some great Hispanic groceries (or products) this is the place for you...they have everything needed for a great ethnic meal...the prices are great and there are truly several different products that you would never be able to find in any other grocery store in town...the only downside is that most of the employees don't speak english - so you either have to be able to point to fresh produce that you want or bring with you someone who is bilingual...it's a great place to go into though! more
