LaPF accomplishes its goal: to provide good (i.e. better than average) classic French fare in a relaxed and sophisticated envirnoment. There are both hits and misses, but well worth repeat visits for the seared duck breast (among the best in the City) with red cabbage, sesame crusted tuna with lentils, and rack-of-lamb. Misses are for the most part limited to the desserts and inexperienced service. The soups are always good and served hot! A well-priced wine list of some very good Frech varietals.
Pros: Duck, Soups, wine list
Cons: Dessert, Service
