La Petite Academy

We've had our children at La Petite for many years and would most definetly recommend it. They do many activities with the children in all age groups. I agree with ""Caring Parent"" in all aspects. The director and all staff care alot about the children and even the parents. I feel comfortable leaving everyday knowing that my child is being taken care of and learning lots! Their 4K program works great for us as we are able to use the wrap around care that they provide. Thank you to everyone at La Petite for being so great to my family! more

I have had my children at La Petite Academy for many years. The staff are wonderful and really take the time to get to know the children and families. The director is truly dedicated to her job. You can see this by the way she takes care of the building, is accessible to parents, and takes the time to interact with the children in the classrooms. I know my children are having fun learning and building lifelong memories. Keep up the great job! more

I can't wait to get my kids out of these place.Facilities is not kept clean throughout.I am removing my children from this center after two weeks. I am very displeased with the way the center is being ran. more

The Director Julie has no idea what she is doing, the staff does, nothing but yell! If you have a question dont ask Kerri, I not sure she even know where she is half the time. Do yourself a favor don't go there!!!! more

Ok. daycare. Great teachers in 1 year old and 2 year old rooms. Administration could be better. Expensive!! more

If you have an infant, 1 year old, or 2 year old this center is good as long as you have no problems or you don't want to do things out of the norm. For example, if your child isn't quite 2 but is interested in the potty, forget it. They will not take the child to the potty even if the child asks. I was told, ""They don't know what they are talking about when they ask, and we can't watch them in the bathroom and watch the other kids."" The language used in the older rooms is such that I do not want my son learning. Proper English is important to me. Please do not use street language or slang around children. The assistant director is clueless about child development and does not believe in any sort of discipline when children are naughty or violent towards other children. The kids do whatever they want while she is ""watching"" them. The director is wishy-washy and tries to avoid conflict at all costs. When I had a problem with another child she asked me to work it out with the other parent instead of getting involved. When I consulted with the state, I was told to get my children out of there and file an official report due to concerns over child safety. After pulling my children, I found out they have a BAD reputation in the community when I talked with other parents. Both of my children attended La Petite before starting kindergarten. It's a wonderful pre-school. They helped my kids learn numbers and the alphabet. They made it so easy for my husband and me. It's VERY clean and well organized. They plan fun parties, a holiday pageant, and family parties, too. more
