Excellent locally owned mexican cousine. I love the chips and salsa and the margaritas! Pleasant atmosphere at a very affordable price. Definitely worth the trip. more

Best Mexican Food! 10/15/2008

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant! I live in Iowa but make it a point to visit La Paz every time I come home. They are locally owned and the owners are always there running the place. In fact, the last time I was there, the owner?s son waited on us. Their chicken fajitas are super fresh, not drowned in oil like most. I crave their chips and salsa! The first basket is free but every additional basket is $0.75. If you?re not super hungry try their Black Bean Soup and Chili Con Queso. I promise you won?t be disappointed. more

Best in Lincoln 5/31/2006

I love La Paz! They have the best food for the dollar in my opinion, and the service is pretty good for how busy they are. It is usually always packed, so come early. The chips and salsa are made fresh daily and really one of the main reasons to go. Everything on the menu is tasty and does not put a hole in your wallet. There is even a VERY tight bar in the back if you need to dirnk faster than the waiter can bring it to you. 10 out of 10! Pros: Great food, Not expensive, Easy to get to Cons: Usually crowded more
