Best in Buffalo? 11/27/2002

I haven't had Pizza Junction pizza so I can't rate it, but La Nova is tied for my favorite. It has a sweet tasting sauce, the cheese is slightly browned on top to give a slight crispness to it, and the crust isn't too thick or too thin. It tastes great reheated and cold too!! LaNova OWNS BUFFALO!!! 11/1/2002

I am a long-time fan of LaNova Pizza. If I didn't know better, I'd swear they must have put a dependecy drug in the dough. Every time I am back in Buffalo I am at the mercy of my stomach cravings for this increadible Italian pie made any way you want it. They also have a large selection of pre-made pizza topping combination masterpieces that take your mouth to a place it's never known before and will never want to leave. LaNova has the competition gasping for air and the local public panting for pie. There is one reason this place has grown from a handful of faithful employees to the largest independantly owned pizza joint in the entire country...IT'S THE VERY BEST!!! Worst experience I have ever head was ordering from LA Nova. The pizza was 45 minutes late and wings didn't arrive for another hour and half. Pizza alright nothing special. Wings were suppose to be hot. What a joke. Do yourself a favor, go some where else!!! Cons: expensive, expensive, expensive more

Amazing...truly the best pizza goin' made by a family that knows their stuff! A little pricey as far as pizza goes, but their BBQ wings are nothing short of orgasmic...so it's well worth it!! If you you're a little shy about going into the city- visit the one in Amherst....it's in a little nicer area. no to the pizza..but the PIT WINGS..HMMM 7/22/2002

Being a Buffalo original..I must say that one thing I miss are La Novas Pit wings. I went to Lafayette high school with a lot of the kids from La Novas and we always thought they were like the coolest kids to have access to those wings. Ha Ha!! The pizza is not the best. But keep up the good work on those subs and wings for years to come more
