Incredible jewel of pleasant service, delightful and delectable Alsatian-style food, and very reasonable prices. My wife and I moved to San Antonio as newlyweds, dining out at least three times a week and for two years attempting to maintain a policy of ""No repeats!"" After our first dinner at La Normandie around month 4, we changed the policy: ""No repeats, EXCEPT La Normandie!"" Pros: Wonderful atmosphere; increadible onion torte Cons: Not open every night more

La Normandie is no longer 2/22/2009

I took my wife to La Normandie as a special treat on Sunday, February 22, 2009 - I had had lunch there, but she had never enjoyed the place. Got there to find an empty building. I called its phone number and was connected with another restaurant. The man on the line informed me that someone in the owner's family died, and they decided to go out of business for good. Such a shame. more
