La Mesa Car Wash

Wow. The two people who reviewed this place before me are complete idiots. T.C. must never have been to this car wash as you do not leave it with an attendant, but stay in the car as L.G. stated. The brushes within the wash bay are soft brushes and do not scratch your vehicle. Heck, they do not even scratch skin. And to L.G., this wash does not simply squirt soap on the car, as you have so stated. There is a pre-wash, wherein the employees use a high pressure spray gun and a soft brush to remove excess dirt, bugs, and debris. And if you want this to be done well, I have found that giving the employees doing the pre-wash a good tip results in a much better pre-wash. As for the dryers being all non-English speaking, that's just a lie. They all speak English quite well, though with a Mexican accent. Besides, I don't see how someones inability to speak a language makes your car any less clean. And finally, if you read all the signs that are posted, the employees are much nicer to you and do a better job. more

This car wash is alright if you don't mind using car wash places. I personally am not a fan. This location is not hand wash only. You leave your vehicle with an attendant and it goes through the wash. Personally, I find that these kind of washes do not get your car as clean as it should be, it scratches the finish and you are left with soap on the vehicle. I'm not a fan but you might be of car washes. Try them out but you won't find me there. more

This location has been around for many years and from the amount of cars you see daily waiting to get their cars washed you'd think they were great. You sit inside your vehicle while it goes through the wash, which is always fun. However, I will never bring my car to this establishment. I prefer the hand washes that I do myself compared to having the hard washing bristles go over my paint job. I'm never impressed by car washes that just squirt the soap on your car. The attendants drying your car are all non english speaking. It's always left still dripping so I choose not to take my vehicle here. more
