I have eaten at La Locanda a few times, and I would gladly recommend this place to locals and anyone on vacation. The food, service and overall experiences were delightful on all of the occasions and I will gladly return. more

Unreal. Awesome food, service and atmosphere. Worked in Italy for 10 years. One of the best Italian meals I have enjoyed outside of Italy. I am beyond picky when it comes to Italian cuisine in the US. What a jewel. more

Friendly servers. Pleasant atmosphere inside or on the street. Fresh ingredients. Reasonable prices. Al dente pasta and tasty gnocchi. The sauteed shrimp were especially divine for the secondi patti. I haven't eaten an Italian meal that made me this nostalgic for Italy since I was last in Italy. more

After a day of dodging the menu hawkers along Ocean Drive we were blessed to discover La Locanda. We were warmly welcomed at the door, seated immediately, served graciously, relished a wonderful Caprese salad, devoured delicious pasta dishes, and smiled when signing off on a reasonable bill that let us decide the amount of the tip...opposed to the gratuity added bills we had experienced in our earlier South Beach dining experiences. Walk a few blocks west of Ocean Drive to La Locanda. You will be glad you did. more

Fantastic personable service off the beaten high priced path of Ocean Drive. Reasonably priced dinner choices of fish, meat and pasta which is home made. Delicioso! more
