Great food, but a bit crowded... 8/8/2006

I love La Fuente and used to go there often -- the food is great, the margaritas "work" and the prices are reasonable. But -- after leaving without a voice after having to shout over the din two times in a row last winter we now head to Botanas. We were seated on the second floor and did not have that problem on the first floor, but when you're hungry and have waited a while already...well first available table sounds pretty good! My advice -- Go early or ask for a 1st floor table so you can enjoy the company of friends. more

AWESOME!!!!! We go as a family and have fun- I go for Girl's Night Out and we have fun- romantic summer night with my husband...we have fun!! Cheap and yummy with a great atmosphere. We go 2-3 times a month in the summer! As soon as the patio opens....we are there. more

The best! 4/17/2006

La Fuente has the best Mexican food in all of Milwaukee. You can tell it's good because it is always jam packed, but it is worth the wait! Just get one of their fab margaritas while you wait for a table. In the summer you won't wait as long because the outdoor seating is available. The staff is always friendly and willing to work with my husband to make certain dishes vegetarian. The green enchiladas with goat cheese are not to be missed! more

Top of the line in Mexican... 4/1/2006

I LOVE LaFuentes! They are fast and fabulous. A great place for small or large groups. We went there last week for a birthday party and they happily catered to the drunk 12 of us! Great food and great drinks alike! more

One of the BEST mexican restaurants! 9/7/2005

This used to be my all time fave mexican stop, until I tried Botanas, which I also love (see my other review!) Anyway, this restaurant just keeps expanding because it is so popular. I was so addicted to it at one point that I would go there almost once a week! You can almost always expect to wait on the weekend, but it is worth it, because you can relax with some margaritas and chips. This is a great place to go with a large group. Make sure to try the enchiladas, chimichangas, and the salsa and guacamole! more

*Great Mexican food* 8/9/2005

My friends & I try to go to La Fuente at least once a month. The food is excellent and the prices are cheap. I absolutely can't believe how much food they give you. You can enjoy chips and salsa while waiting. You even have the option of sitting outdoors. Did I mention the fabulous margaritas? Try it out!!! more
