Great Time! 8/21/2003

I just recently tried La Frite after having a friend tell me about it and i must say it was a great experience. I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of a cute french bistro. The service was exceptional, not to mention the lovely manager GAYLE, what a sweetheart! She made my stay something special, I wish all restaurants followed their style. I just recently went to Firefly who tries to pull of a French cuisine and their food and service was terrible. If more people find out about this place, they will put Firefly out of business. VALLEY FROG GEM 3/23/2003

This is the cutest place. I've been going there for almost thirty years- still love it! Shiba the bartender has been there that long also! Not too fancy; simple bistro food. But cozy & charming. The BEST onion soup & garlic bread in town. Very resonable wine list. Just like a real French reataurant & since I'm not going to France again any time soon, this is a pleasant reminder.
