Best Pizza around Town 3/21/2011

I have lived in Media my whole life and La Forno was one of the best discoveries I made. It is a welcoming atmosphere and the service is efficient and friendly. La Forno has some of the best pizza in the philadelphia area. They make it in brick ovens and it tastes delicious. Not only do they make delicious pizza but they make other delicious entrees as well. If you haven't gone already make sure you head over to La Forno's for some of the best food around town. more

Best Local Mom & Pop 10/22/2010

I have lived in this town for many many years. I would not categorize any of the food there as ""Best"", nor would I either claim their ""Service isn't good"". It is by far the best food for the money in Media and the servers are pleasant and attentive. As usual, all the best restaurants are neither flashy, nor on Main street. La Forno is not a place tourist would find if they are visiting for one of the many weekend events, but far from all the hoopla is by far the best choice they could make for lunch or dinner if they want straight forward food, service and cost. more

World's Best Cheesesteaks! 11/6/2008

Wouldn't expect it, but La Forno's cheesesteaks are seriously the best around. The meat is great quality, and the cheese goes perfectly. Their fries are an excellent addition. Definitely give it a try. Pros: Food, Price, more

Great pizza, great prices 3/15/2008

I think this is the best place for pizza in Media. While the service is a bit inattentive and slow, the wood-fired pizza is generally excellent with good toppings. Portions are pretty large, calzones are huge as are hoagies and salads. Ambience is just so-so, but you aren't paying for that either. Parking can be tight, since spaces are limited, but it's worth finding a spot nearby just to have their pizza. Everything I've had there has been very good, so even if you aren't going for the pizza, you likely won't be disappointed. Pros: Pizza, Pizza, food, prices Cons: Service more
