Authentic Mex.Food 3/29/2008

This little mexican restaurant has been around for many years. I have been coming with my family since my girls were born, one is now 24. and it has always had the same owners, the Espinoza family. You can find one of them working there, every time we have gone (which is very frequently, we see someone there). I think that is why this restaurant is one of our families favorites, the food has a great taste, its fresh, and the place is clean. They used to have a great promotion you would come and eat 9 times and get your 10th meal free, they took that away. but you can't beat their prices, especially for what you are getting. Highly Recommended!\r more

Best Mex. food in Mont. county 3/29/2008

I highly recommend this restaurant! I have not found one with such great authentic and fresh food.\r I love their chile rellenos that come with a special cream sauce, yummy! The Shrimp dishes are very tasty some come with red sauce and other with a green sauce, and the best in my opinion the ones that are called the ""Camarones de la Casa"" that have both, I add vegetables. The sopes puff up like a little ball and have meat or guacamole inside (Very unique), my friends love their corn tortillas that are hand made, even the nachos are my fav. They also are dif. than other places these are flat, but so good!! I moved to monterey and would still go at least once a month, now I live in Orange county and try to go with my husband at least a couple times a year! We truly miss it!! Pros: clean and neat small restaurant, great unique food Cons: it's in greenfield there is no reason to go there except to eat at this restaurant! more

Our perennial vavorite 3/16/2005

Our family has dined in this small, quaint restaurant for many years. It has changed ownership over the years, but the cuisine and service hasn't. One is greeted with fresh, hot tortillas chips and a hot sauce that will convince one to order a beer or soft drink first. The waitress will then bring hot tortillas in a small basket and a top that resembles a sombrero. Thier entrees' are the standard Mexican cuisine. My favorite is the Taco, Meat Enchilada and Sopa' combination. This also comes with refried beans. The clientele are a mixture of Gringos and Latinos for the most part. Mostly locals, but word has gotten out amongst the ""outsiders"" as well. more
