Too bad the lowest rating is 1 star. We were hoping to use the company to help us find a condo to purchase so we could then use the company to manage our existing home in Carlsbad. Because we live in Northern California we have to do everything remotely. We found a condo that we liked and asked if they felt that $495,000 cash offer was reasonable bid on a $499,000 asking price. Instead of providing us assistance all we received was an email stating that they wouldn't help us and to find another agent. Trust me, stay as far away from this company as possible. more

LCHOMES - Carlsabd La Costa Sales and Rentals 12/2/2010

La Costa Sales and Rentals in La Costa Carlsbad was very helpful with helping us get our home ready to rent, we lived in our home off of Alga for many years and then we moved to our new home. Lynn, Patrick, Vicky and Joe were very helpful in getting the home ready and they've been managing our home for several years now. We highly recommend them! Great staff, sincerely. Actually Brian, you created the problems and the stress, you did not allow us easy access to show the home, you did not clean up like you were supposed, your Mom and Brother came to help and they dropped the ball too, so we had to hire lots of help at the last minute and then to top it off, you abandoned your two cats in the home as you dissapeared, what a great guy! We are actually taking care of the cats you left in the home. We are actually taking good care of Barbara's home. more

At first I thought Patrick Boyle from LaCosta Sales and Rentals was just very disorganized but came to realize that his miscommunications appeared to part of his strategy. He repeatedly made very costly promises to potential renters creating unneccessary adversarial relationships . more
