Worst

Awful :( I went to the South Carlsbad location, and got the worst coffee ever. My drink was undrinkable, it was extremely bitter, and the staff have very poor service. Yucky

I love this place. Great environment for studying or reading or computer work (Free Wifi :] ) or just hanging out. Great coffee but I have to admit I Love the tea Love love love. From freshly brewed on a cold morning or a nice ice tea on the patio with a book. more

Wow! Most amazing Coffee in Southern California. Great beans, great service, and cute baristas ;). But All joking aside this is an amazing little coffee store with a nice environment to just sit and have a couple drinks, read a book, or even just to snatch a nice coffee to go.\r \r The owner, Doug, KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING. Talking to him is like talking to King Coffee. From roasting temperatures to which pastry goes with which coffee.No one knows better.\r \r I mean if you like cheap burnt coffee this is not the place for you but fair priced and a great variety of excellent coffee I recommend La Costa. more

Tasty Coffee! 3/17/2010

Love this coffee house! Consistently good coffee and tea drinks and yummy pastries and sweets. They also have live music on weekends and a fun selection of greeting cards and small, coffee/tea oriented gifts. The movie theatre in the same complex allows you to bring their coffe drinks inside for a movie - grab a tasty mocha and watch the show at the Ultra Star Cinema next door! more

Great place to hang out 5/23/2008

Pros- the wireless interent is GREAT- it's free, making it an ideal get away for studying, or writing a screen play. The coffee beans also seem very very fresh.\r \r Cons- I came here once on a hot day- and did not really like the blended mocha that I got- too sweet and not enough espresso. more

This is where i first had a caramel mocha, and it is the best! they roast their own coffee right at this location, and you can tell its fresh. if you like frozen blended drinks, i highly recommend the caramel cream scream. or the mocha scream. or the vanilla! they are all good. great coffee! free wireless internet too. and also lots of great quality coffee and tea making accesories. more

In 1988, we added our first espresso bar to our store and the quest for the perfect espresso began!. Attention to freshness and quality led us to buying a Probat coffee roaster and opening our second store in 1991. The roasting of our own beans allowed us to source the finest quality raw green coffee beans from small estates and farms around the world.
