Great little gem! 11/28/2010

My husband and I took our two children (3.5 and 1.5) with us to dinner here last night. We didn't realize how small the dining room was, but the waitress was very friendly and accommodating anyway. There was also another small child (maybe 2?) at a nearby table. There was no kids menu, but the waitress steered us to a few options (quesadillas, etc) that weren't spicy and that the kids would do well with. The service was great, we were able to get boxes, our check, etc quickly when the kids' good behavior was wearing thin. The food was incredible. It's a little more expensive than other places, but it tasted fresh and real. Not at all salty like some places. I had the white enchiladas and my husband had a chicken burrito. The kids had the quesadilla with beans. All of the food was fantastic, and even the beans were clearly homemade with an occasional whole pinto bean in the refried beans. We will definitely be back, only with just the two of us so we can enjoy our dinner a little more without distracting kids:) more

Best kept secret!! 12/15/2008

Unique, delicious food, cozy atmosphere. 1/28/2007

My family and I ate here last night (01-27-2007) and enjoyed it very much. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful, and the food was very tasty, and tasted authentic and fresh.\r \r The chips and salsa that came with the meal were flavorful and unique, the sangria was lovely and the entrees were very good and slighly unusual.\r \r We had the apples and cherry chimichangas for dessert, and loved it.\r \r All 4 of us felt we had found a real gem in this restaurant. It is small, probably seats about 35-40 in total.\r \r Boy, it was great!!\r \r (I don't understand the issue the the second reviewer had, and I think his reaction is hard to understand.) Pros: easy parking, quite neighborhood, attentive service Cons: none for me more

Best Mexican I've Ever Had! 6/6/2005

I love Mexican food and have gone to several different Mexican restaurants throughout the country. This restaurant has easily the best Mexican I have ever tasted. Keep in mind that this restaurant is very small (8 - 12 tables only). I believe management is trying to attract an adult clientele only. It is hard to bring kids to a restaurant that is small. The waitress could have been more attentive I admit, but the manager (owner?) was very interested in what I thought and eager to thank me for coming. Considering that I came 30 minutes before they were closing, I had an excellent meal and service. If you are looking for a quiet spot for a couple of adults to imagine themselves in Mexico, this is the place. If you want to bring little kids, by all means, go to Acupulco. Pros: Great food, ambiance, Easy parking Cons: Very small more
