Wow what GREAT food and service!! I've eaten at La Casona since they opened and I've never been disappointed!! The salsa is homemade and served warm along with chips which are also homemade. My friends and I have ordered many different things from the menu and the food has always been very good. The service is fantastic, we've never waited more than 10 min for our food, wellll unless we were in a big group of 15 or so. That's to be expected, the food is so delicious. I would highly recommend La Casona in Angleton, Lake Jackson or Rosenburg more

Average Tex-Mex fare 3/28/2006

I wasn't too impressed with La Casona Mexican Restaurant. We did happen to go on a busy Friday night. The service was decent but the food was sub-par. Our server brought out the usual Mexican restaurant chips and salsa. The chips were good but the salsa was runny and lacked flavor. We ordered the beef and chicken fajitas. The meat tasted reheat and was very chewy. The rest of dinner was pretty good. I may try them again in hopes of getting a better dinner. more
