Our family loves La Casita, we eat there all the time. The atmosphere is laid-back and chatty, but it can get very crowded and noisy at dinner time as it is very popular in this area. Everyone is always friendly though. For my husbands birthday I asked them to sing to embarrass him, and instead of the employees singing, they got the entire dining room full of customers to sing! It was very fun and felt kind of like a big party with a room full of people we didn't know! The food is incredibly good and very reasonably priced. If you're a drinker, the margaritas are amazing on the rocks! No skimping on the tequila! The menu has a huge variety of combo meals and they will customize. We enjoy it because it is not formal and stuffy and uncomfortable for us. It is a dumpy little shack, with happy chatty people and delicious, well-priced food.
Pros: Low price, high taste, friendly people.
Cons: Gets crowded and noisy, the wait can be long on weekends.
