We ordered some of the most common items on any mexican restaurants menu and found it to be the worst tasting, looking and smelling food. The beef tacos contained the worst looking and tasting meat. It was grey in color, tasted like it contained breakfast sausage, driped clear liquid and smelled almost as bad as it tasted. The beef burrito contained this same meat and a repulsive red sauce on top, not salsa. I would not eat in this restaurant again nor recommend it. Pros: If the food is not good nothing else matters. Great ambiance with the walls beautifully decorated by an artist who has integrated a pleasing Spanish style interior with glimpses of typical Mexican village life. Every booth has a faux window looking out on a different facet of village life in Mexico. Children in particular will love the array of birds, people and amusing scenes of old Mexico. Foods are prepared by Mexican cooks using only the freshest ingredients and utilizing family recipes that are just a little different from the average Mexican chain restaurant. Try the Carnitas Dinner, Chicken Chimichangas or Churri Pollo. Wonderful handmade Tamales and the Chili Rellenos are to die for. Margaritas are the best around and the service is spot on.
