I love La Cantina! Their pizza is amazing. My Brother had his wedding reception at La Cantina, it was perfect. I would highly reccomend it.

Best pizza in SW Michigan, so good it's addicting. It should be illegal. 9/14/2006

I live in Chicago so I know good Italian and this 70-yr-old, 3rd-generation family-run rest. is darn good. Huge portions, family friendly, wonderfull setting on Maple Lake... sit on lakeside patio if any tables are open. Great ribs too! Very busy on Summer weekends so make reservations. Pros: Food, setting and prices. Cons: Needs more parking, lot is always full. more

Italian isn't always the best 10/9/2005

I don't understand the fascination with American Italian fare. If a restaurant is called ""Italian,"" most people will go there expecting (and imagining) it to be the greatest thing ever. This place isn't particularly bad, it's just not great, and not what you couldn't get at a million other Italian restaurants in any other small town. Boring. more
