Good: Our summer wedding at La Canada Country Club was perfect in everyway! First of all, the view is unbelievable. Quite a few of our guests were from out of town and they were in awe of the floor to ceiling windows in everyroom. From the mountains and the forest to the lights of downtown L.A, it's really breath taking. Our Ballroom also had a beautiful wrap around balcony on three sides. The service was truly professional and right on schedule. Even though we were a little late, they worked the timing perfectly. Bad: I really had no complaints. I love the old world hunting lodge charm of the lobby with the river rock walls and beautiful wood everywhere. Its very glamourus. We even saw a very handsome television star walking around during our rehearsal who is a member of the private golf club. Our guests had access to a completely private bathroom facility as well as free parking. My MOH lost her silver bracelet and it was found under a chair by one of the bus boys within minutes. The whole staff pitched in to help.. Improvements: It would have been nice to have had access to an earlier opened bar but the members bar is off limits to nonmembers.I can understand. Just plan on opening your own bar earlier than you had originally planned to. Our ceremony was over 20 minutes ahead of time and our guests were thirsty so the bar manager came up to us and offred to open up before he was even all set. This saved the day for us and it was that kind of attention to out needs that really made the staff stand out.. Other: The food was the best I;ve ever had at a large event, let alone a wedding! The Parmesean Chicken and the Seabass was 4 star restaurant quality and everyone raved about it The Prices they;re running are unbeatable! Believe me, we checked around. La Canada Country Club heped us have a glorious night!. more

Incredible views with wildlife, forest and city lights in the background1! Brand newly redone ballroom, superior service and amazing food. Best decision we ever made was to have our wedding here. more

While the grounds are beautiful and the food is good, this place is very unprepared. We attended a wedding and reception. We were directed to a bar area after the ceremony and there was no one there, no beverages, no ice, etc. It was a good half hour before they were up and running. Also, the appetizers weren't there waiting for us and there were no utensils to eat it with. The wedding cake was knocked over twice and had to be removed and repaired both times. The tables are too small for 10 people and the room wasn't big enough for less than 200 people. It was very tight. The outside balcony was a plus with it's view, but it's time to remodel the building. I do not recommend this place. more
