I had my hair done at La Bella yesterday and I am so happy with the wyay it turned out. Chelsea was amazing she listened to all my concerns and worked magic with my blonde highlights. She is the only person to ever get them the way I want them.AMAZING!!! more

I just left La Bella Hair Studio and it was well worth braving the rain. With Mother's Day and my hmm hmmth birthday around the corner I decided to get a hair makeover.\r \r I went in with a curly 'fro that has been traumatized by color and I left with a sleek and edgy haircut. My days are filled with children; my son and my students. I also have a small accessories business. It was important that my style be low maintenance as well as trendy and fashion forward.\r \r I explained this to my stylist, Eric-Michael and he delivered! La Bella's staff made me feel comfortable and I got a much needed chance to kick back and have fun. more

The ladies at La Bella are possibly the best colorists in Richmond. They are very creative and flexible, and TCB in a very hip, airy salon. more

I need to preface this by saying that I am a total Nervous Nelly about my hair color - very picky and very much a perfectionist about how my highlights look. I had been going to a well known salon in Richmond (starts with an ""M"" at Libbie/Grove) and the stylists there could never get my color right - always green or ashy - and I always had to have them re-do it. So I was a little nervous buying a certificate on Groupon for my next highlight at a salon I had never heard of. But Lauren listened to all of my concerns and seemed very certain that she could get my hair to the golden blonde of the pictures that I brought in, so I trusted her. And believe me, when I got back in the chair after my wash, I realized I had nothing to worry about. It's a beautiful color and for a FAB price. I will be going back for my haircut and future colors! more

I have been going to this salon since they opened, and I need to stress that these stylists are fabulous. They take the time to actually listen to you. If what you are hoping to achieve is not possible, they will tell you. Likewise, they offer other options that flatter your face, your style, and your personality. \r \r The atmosphere is great, they will offer to help you fix your make up afterwards,as they want to make sure you look your best when you leave as well as show you how to achieve that same look at home. \r \r I love this salon and will continue to give them my business as long as they are around. I'm a lifer! more

I recently moved to Richmond from Maryland and desperately needed my hair cut. I found La Bella and was very impressed with the atmosphere, the great service and the prices too. They have excellent stylists, I had my hair done by Chelsea and I was impressed by her skills. She was really great! I would recommend this salon to anyone! :) more

I couldn't be happier with my experiences at La Bella! The salon is clean and professional with a warm atmosphere. I never have to wait for my appointment and always get the quality service I come in for! My stylist always listens to what I want and keeps me informed of exactly what she is doing (especially if we're trying something new or different). I've been going here since I moved to Richmond a year ago and never needed to try another salon! I cannot tell you how many times someone has stopped me and asked where I get my hair cut b/c they love it. Can't ask for a better price, experience, or team of stylists! more

Been getting my hair cut and highlighted at La Bella nearly since it opened five years ago. I do not have good hair -- it's super thin, fine, and oily. I never got compliments on it until I found La Bella, really. Now, I get lots of compliments even from strangers (not creepy pick-up comments) and from friends in the fashion industry in NYC. \r \r On top of the quality, the value for the service far surpasses other high-end salons I've visited in Ric. I get a consistently great look for half the cost of what other high-end salons charge. If you're looking for a salon, definitely check them out!\r more

I went to La Bella last week for the first time and had my hair colored/highlighted by Chelsea and cut by Lauren. They both did a fantastic job! Chelsea's highlights look fantastic - very natural, not chunky - and I love the haircut that Lauren gave me. I've gotten a lot of compliments since my visit and I already have my next appointment booked. I highly recommend La Bella! more

i was visiting from NJ and decided to try La Bella hair studio though the atmosphere and the receptionist were nice, the stylist seemed inexperienced, she added highlights to my hair that didnt blend well, and were scattered through out my head. The cut was horrible i had strands of hair everywhere, needless to say it was a waste of my money since I had to have it fixed once I got back to NJ. so if your ever visiting Richmond or live there already I dont recomend going there unless you like throwing your money away. more

I went La Bella last week for a haircut. I was referred to Lauren by a flyer that I saw at school. The salon is small but very pretty. The receptionist greeted me with a smile and asked if I needed anything. I brought in a picture and Lauren explained to me that she could give me a haircut similar to the picture but because of my hair being thin I couldn't get the hairstyle just like the picture. Lauren did such a good job, she showed me how to style my new hair do and what products to use so that my hair won't be so flat all the time. Wonderful experience, very nice people. more

Myself, wife and 2 sons went and saw Jessie, Lauren, Crystal and Chelsea today at La Bella Hair Studio. It was by far one of the single greatest experiences in a hair place before. We had heard about them through a flyer they handed out and decided we could use some hair cuts. My wife got exactly what she wanted and then some. Did great with the children and even did mine right. It was a wonderful experience and I would suggest this salon to any and all people. more
