Worst

I'm a regular customer but I was very disappointed about the poor quality of food and service. I ordered a seafood soup that suppose to include fish, shrimp, octopus and vegetable...

Good: I loved everything a drank and ate here. I was surprised on their prices theyre cheap compared to all the other so called mexican places ive been to. I tried the fried quesadilas which i had never even heared of but were delicious just like their horchata. Ive only tried those machine horchatas but not here this was fresh homemade horchata and they have other waters they make their too. They do take the fresh and authentic mexican food category hands down.. Bad: My pants became too tight. Improvements: The sports bar addition to open. I cant wait. more

I think the food is outstanding and very authentic, but almost each time I have had dinner or lunch there the service is terrible. They are very friendly and always tell me it's nice to see me again, but they don't come by the table often enough. So I frequent Casa Adelita on La Habra and Cypress ... authentic food, very reasonable prices, and awesome service. more

Good food 2/27/2006

While La Barca de Jalisco isnt my favorite Mexican food place, it does offer a large menu of all different kinds of dishes and it is good. Visually, its not appealing. Seems to be a common theme these days with Mexican food places around here. But the employees are usually friendly and if you like bizarre Mexican dishes...you know with weirdo sea creatures, or tongue, intestines, etc)...you will love this place. more
