The Scene
Martin Scorsese fell in love with this restaurant while on location for "The Age of Innocence" in Troy, a city whose antique architectural charm is the result of indolence, not preservation. Inside you'll find more seats than seems possible as one room opens onto the next.
The Food
The northern Italian menu is heavy on seafood, but old-fashioned items like veal saltimbocca and chicken cacciatore are also lovingly rendered. Even familiar lasagna seems extra tasty. There are few surprises here, but chef Michael Lo Porto is a master of his cuisine and duly merits his adulation.
Dish to Die For
The seafood-laden hot antipasto is a knockout.
