for coffee lovers 4/30/2008

those of you who are into coffee will love this place. they even have table service where coffee can be brewed in front of you. \r \r that being said, i was here for the food. i tried the following:\r \r 1. caesar salad - this was fine. the lettuce was crisp and not drenched in dressing. it is really hard to mess up this salad.\r \r 2. fried oyster - this was too bread-y.\r \r 3. ABLT (asian blt) - instead of regular bacon, they use pork belly. instead of lettuce, they use arugula. it is definitely different, a lot fancier. this new twist on a classic is tasty and good (but not great). more

A gem.... 3/22/2008

This was my first visit, but will not be my last. This is a world class cafe/restaurant. I can't think of a better place to spend a Saturday afternoon, sipping one of their exquisite coffee drinks and nursing one of the amazing pastries baked on site by their 4 star pastry chef. Great atmosphere, terrific menu. A winner. more

This was my first visit, but will not be my last. This is a world class cafe/restaurant. I can't think of a better place to spend a Saturday afternoon, sipping one of their exquisite coffee drinks and nursing one of the amazing pastries baked on site by their 4 star pastry chef. Great atmosphere, terrific menu. A winner. more
