First thing when you walk in all you smell is urine, the whole store smells terrible. It's a small store with a lot of animals but if you keep everything clean there's no smell. Start with the prices, which are terrible. At the back of the store are all the reptiles, birds and small animals. They don't take very good care of them at all, all small cages even for pet store standards. The cages smell, the water is often dirty. With chinchillas they breed them over and over until they sell and then sell the chinchillas for double the price. They even had a cage with a male and female in it, with a sign saying it was male and female. They're very cheap, disgusting people. The birds are all very sick looking, in tiny cages. My Husband purchased stone for sons new lizard when he got home we realized it was too small called store within 10 minutes of purchasing and asked if we could return (cashier did not give him receipt) they said no only store credit!!! That was a waste of 20.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pros: only pet store in town Cons: return policy more

L&M Pets is a good store they are alot cheaper to buy tanks and toys and food for animals than any were else. more

i wanted to buy somethings for my animal friends and went in there and the prices are outrageous!! YOU CAN BUY THE SAME THING AT ANOTHER STORE FOR ALOT CHEAPER! The fish section is not well kept they have alot of dead fish in the tanks and dont buy there fish guarentee because you wont get anything when you try. i bought some fish there and in 5 hours one died and when i called and brought the fish in they said i had chlorine in my water, I have test strips and there was no chlorine not to mention i have well water which has no chlorine in it. after that my whole tank was wiped out because they had ICK so i refuse to buy anything from there they are rip offs Pros: some of the sales ppl are nice Cons: everything more

Kelly, one of the workers at this horrible place stores her African Grey in a tiny cage in a dark corner, months of food build up, putrified water in his bowl and NO ATTENTION whatsoever! I am reporting them to the Humane Society of NYS and filing a complaint. I have seen them watch fish die on the floor and the place wreaks!! The owners are so miserable and Kelly should be fired for her horrible treatment of her OWN BIRD!! This place is the WORST!! Cons: ALL CONS - EVEN THE OWNERS! more
